The world feels off-tilt today without Nathalie Dupree in it and it hurts. She loved me, changed my life, and was the guiding light for my career.
Nathalie took me into the fold with trust and interest in me growing into a strong woman that could cook. I was a complete stranger, only 21 years old, when I cold-called her at home and it changed my life.
She did more to elevate women in the culinary industry than anyone else ever. We have a lot to live up to. I just wish we didn’t have to do it without her.
